How can coaching help me?

Coaching can support you to resolve a wide range of challenges or simply to explore opportunities.  You might be going through a transitional period in your life, struggling to deal with a person or issue that you find difficult, want to apply a new skill and approach or overcome a barrier to bring about change.

Whilst coaching does not offer a “magic solution”, my sessions provide you with a confidential space in which to talk and explore your own thoughts. I will listen without judgement, providing support and sometimes challenge to help you to find your own way whether that is a solution or just better peace of mind.

What is coaching?

 

Coaching is a one-to-one conversation which is facilitated by me as the coach but focuses on your needs as coachee, with the aim of supporting you to become more self-aware, take more personal responsibility and through this to become more effective and fulfilled.

My role as your coach is not to provide you with the answers, but through listening and asking questions, supporting and enabling you to identify your own solutions and to find your own way towards the best course of action.

What can I expect?

You can expect me as your coach to be focused on your needs and to help you to explore the issue or opportunity that you bring along to our session. Our session will generally last 60- 90 minutes. After the first discovery session we can mutually agree the number of frequency of our sessions. 

 

I will begin our session by proving a framework in terms of time, confidentiality, assurances, and setting mutually agreed boundaries. You may wish to introduce more personal aspects to our discussions or focus on professional issues. Whatever is most comfortable for you.
